    Hail, Hail

There is some really awesome tracks that get the second slot - never thought of it before. Not surprised at any song taking the lead. Am surprised that Got Some hasn't got some votes yet - best on Backspacer and killer live

I think Got Some really needs to be heard live to be fully appreciated. I saw it played twice in Philly (MIA & 4/28/16) and both versions were blistering...... that song f'ing rocks.

...of course, it was the first song played during this performance.

    Love it, by the way.

    Hail, Hail
I am now anxiously awaiting the poll for best 3rd song on a studio album! Vegas has Alive at 2-1 as the early favorite with Daughter nipping at its heels, but dark horses LBC and Not for You are feeling like they have a shot. Will Evacuation, The Fixer, Comatose, and My Father's Son get a single vote? Where will infrequently played live fan favorites Who You Are and No Way finish?

A lot easier to pick my top 3 from that batch, and it's not even close.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Agreed. That song has really grown on me. I think they've really perfected it live and it's better now than when it first came out.

Well, the 90's tunes are all strong. Really drops off afterwards aside from maybe LBC.

    Hail, Hail
Hail, Hail. I wasn't at all sure at first, so I made a playlist of all of these songs and listened to it. Once I had them all lined up like that and listened, the choice became really easy. Hail, Hail kicks some serious ass IMO. Most of the other 2nd songs are great too, especially Save You, which was my close 2nd. For BS and LB, which I'm not in love with, the 2nd songs happen to be my favorites from those albums (although agree with Gimme - Got Some is really a song that should only be heard live). However, I never did like STBC all that much, even as a vinyl person. It is a bit unpleasant in my ears somehow.

Today I went for Spin the black circle. Love the message and the angst, it was a great period. Although Hail Hail and Faithful are very close.
