This was tough only because EF is so powerful too.
    I am faithful to Avocado.

Me? I think I've seen the band 15 times and Ed solo 5 times. Going through the band shows in my head, and I think evenflow has been played at all of them except The Vic.

    I hear you.
After seeing them so much it kinda blends.
However you can't possibly be tired of hearing and experiencing the EF solo live.
It's not like you do it everyday...

Oh but I am tired of it. My favorite Evenflow memory is St. Paul 2003. They played a pretty rocking version of Evenflow and the crowd was into it. The follow that energy with...Thin Air. I've never felt air leave a building like that before.

Wouldn't it be the opposite? The energy came from Evenflow and died with Thin Air instantly.

The energy should've continued had the crowd known what a great song Thin Air is.

Spot on. Thin Air is great. Not to sound like a broken record, but another song that deserves an acoustic tour so that it gets the proper love.

Yes, awesome show! Loved hearing Thin Air, but the casual fan and the friends I was with just sat back down and waited for the next Ten hit.

    Hail, Hail
    this is a great poll!
i voted before reading, and it was really hard, i figured animal was going to be the winner, but hail hail won for me by a hair
but faithfull, save you... so many good choices, and lets all be honest, even flow is at an unfair disadvantage- we've all heard it a million times, but its one of the greatest rock songs of all time.

    Even Flow
As a 2nd track on a debut album, it's perfect. But I would play any of those other options before I listened to Even Flow. LOL

I think the transition from the oh-so-quiet-yet-tense "Sometimes" to the full-on-rock-out "Hail Hail" is what real makes it such an epic #2 track. I love it... not quite as much as Go/Animal but it's still one of the great PJ album sequencing moments.

There is some really awesome tracks that get the second slot - never thought of it before. Not surprised at any song taking the lead. Am surprised that Got Some hasn't got some votes yet - best on Backspacer and killer live

I voted Hail,Hail. Disappointed Got Some doesn't have 1 vote though. Can't get it out of my head since Wrigley 2

Hail Hail. Sometimes is kind of peaceful and quiet and then Hail Hail hits you like a hammer to head :) Sometimes even tricks you into putting your stereo louder, just so when Hail Hail comes on it scares the shit out of you :)

Damn, this was a lot harder that I thought it would be. Hail Hail was my initial thought, as No Code is my fav album, but couldn't go past Animal.
Pretty strong Number 2's across the board though. Not a bad song in there
