Best Version of "Of The Earth"?

Of the Earth has been played 12 times, but never at any show I've ever seen. :( Maybe we'll get lucky and it will be the next Holiday Single. (Hey, we finally got "Wishing Well". A guy can hope!)

Anyway, it's currently available on only 10 bootlegs. Which version is the best one? I've got some download codes to use and I want to download the show which has the best version of this song so I can get it into the rotation on my MP3 player.

    Anyone know where I can get a downloadable version of the Third Man Records performance of "Of the Earth"? I don't see it on Gremmie.net, just Dublin 2010.

    TMR is definitely the best, but Wrigley 2 was pretty damn good, too.

    I've seen it four times.
    The best sounding on record that I've heard, TMR.
    But Kearn5y is right, seeing it, for the first time ever in a small venue with a passionate crowd. Dublin.
    I think you can feel it in the boot, but it might be because I was there - likewise with others opinions.

    best performance dublin 10 and denver 14.and if u love the bass ,by far de luna festival 12..thats the best quality of all the rest(de luna festival)

    Aside from TMR, I felt like werchter 2010 had the tightest version. It's pretty much all about whether they can nail the transition in the jam.

    So it seems that TMR gets the nod, but they are all great! Loved it at Wrigley 2! Regardless, it's a deadly tune. Not sure how it would translate to Studio. I would happily spin it but I think live is how it is meant to be and will remain.

    I'm not in love with the song normally, but did enjoy the TMR version, so that's definitely my choice as well. No other version I've heard even comes close.

    Agree.

    I was there in Dublin 2010 and couldn't really understand what the song was, then Werchter was the same. That weird drumming.

    But the TMR-version hooks me.

    I only heard it live twice (at Pemberton and Wrigley). I think I preferred Wrigley, but it was sweet both times. Yes the TMR version is pretty sweet too :)

    Haven't heard a really good quality version of any of them yet, but how do you argue against the one on vinyl that includes Jack White?

    At least until the Wrigley version is spun for comparison... ;)

    Easily. Wasn't a fan of the song previously (and I've seen it live) but the TMR version is amazing!
