Mike "night one" McCready

Mike was brilliant at both Fenway shows, and night two might have been my favorite... But Mike seemed possessed at night one, really channeling something special. From what I understand, this was also the case at Wrigley.

There must be something special that happens on the first night for the performer, especially at a show of that caliber.

Anyone notice this?

    I mean... Comfortably numb at Fenway 1. So good.

    I agree 100 percent. Night 2 was cool no doubt it's pearl jam. But night 1 mccready was super locked in and possessed. Dude gave me chills listening to him play that night.

    This. He left me speechless which is rare. Then he completely ripped his strings off of his guitar. If I was on stage with him I would have been scared.

    Wrigley one was the best I have ever seen him in 22 years, every note was perfect from his fingers

    Saw 5 shows this tour and all 4 stadiums. He was great at all IMO but he seemed like a man possessed at Fenway 1. I was sort of dumbfounded by the precision I was hearing. Glad the Fenway boots went on sale. Need to relisten to see if what I recall is accurate about Night 1. Will probably be 100x better.
