How can a digital download be out of stock?

I saw that the 2000 concert season was released in the bootleg series and went to pick up the show that I attended (holy sh!t....16 years ago...are you kidding me?) in Sacramento. When I clicked on the digital download a couple of weeks ago I received the following:

Sorry, we are currently out of stock.

SACRAMENTO 10/30/2000 BOOTLEG DIGITAL DOWNLOAD

That seems a little odd to me....

Jeff Ament is my favourite musician, and I sadly lost my copy of Tone when I moved last year.
The digital download of said album is currently out of stock via the 10C store. :-(
