When Pearl Jam gets inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, who would you think would be a better choice to induct the band? Both would be really awesome choices

I personally think that Cornell would be the better choice since he knows them a lot more. I think that his speech would have cooler and more interesting stories.

I totally agree, plus he has known all of them for a really long time

Do peers usually induct each other? I feel like its either from the younger generation or older generation...

Flea inducted Metallica, so maybe the Hall of Fame decides, hopefully the band has a say

Personal preference would be Cornell. No real reason other than I like more of his music.

Brendan O'Brien will probably do it and they'll just play Future Days.

LOL, funny but highly doubtful, however I am sure he will get a lot of praise during the acceptance speech

Definitely hope it doesn't happen. He's not well known enough anyway.

I imagine it'll be Young, Townsend, or Ben Harper, maybe. I really hope it's not some of the shittier bands, in my opinion, that PJ has championed over the years (KoL, Gaslight). Would be cool to see Jim James, Julian Casablancas, Sleater Kinney....just a few others that have supported the band, in one way or another, over the years.

When has PJ championed Gaslight Anthem?

And why are they a shitty band?

My bad. I thought they had opened for them. Regardless, Ed sang a tune with them. That helped them out, I'm sure.

I just don't like them. They're milk toast to me. Safe, boring, derivative. Seen some live footage and they just fell flat for me. So, to me, they're shitty. Just my opinion.

Townshend has more of a connection with Eddie and not as much with the whole band, Bono has more of a connection than Pete, this shouldn't be all about Eddie, if you are going to go there, Bruce Springsteen would be the same difference, now Bruce knows how to give badass speeches so from that perspective I wouldn't mind as much

I can't stand Cornell personally and think the dude is a tool but he knows the guys' roots and helped them out with totd when they were still kids. I'd go with him but he's still a tool.
I'm like an opening band for your mom.
