We were going to add Tampa but then i remembered we had tickets for David Gilmour at MSG on 4/11. There was no way i was going to miss that show.

We are flying in at 9am on the 8th, I've been trying to save vacation days since i lost 8 days when i switched jobs last year. The pit is going to be insane, you know we bring lots of energy. It's going to be awesome having everyone all together again, it's been too long.

We can't all afford going to shows (especially abroad). Some would say, if you want something that bad go and get it. But it's not always that simple. Mostly because of health issues, the nature of work (or lack thereof), financial reasons, marital status, and in general the way of life one chose to lead. We all love this band that's why we're here in the first place, but that doesn't mean we're not allowed to request our favourite songs to be played even if we're not going to be there to experience them at first hand. At least, we'll always have a chance to listen to them on the upcoming bootleg releases. Some of us don't care about their egos, they're more about the community. You got to hear my favourite song, even if I requested it first or whatever, that's perfect. I'll be happy for you. As for me, I'll be proud to own that bootleg. And of course, I'll wait till the next time. Obviously the possibility to get your favourite song when you attend multiple shows each year is higher, but that leads us back to the top of the post (reasons why it's absolutely impossible for some of us).
