I've a question: if I put a seating as 5th choice, do I have the same odds to get it as those who put it as 1st choice or the fact the preference does influence the chances to win?

Preference does influence the chances to win. You are lucky if you get your first choice. So choose wisely. Good luck!

no, it's in order by priority.

    Just a suggestion.

Since 70-80% of you people will NOT get your Philly or NYC tickets...
I strongly suggest Hampton or Jacksonville.. Where you are basically guaranteed a great ticket.

Nothing wrong with going to see 5-10 shows. No one gets any grief for going to all 8 football home games. PJ plays songs from a 150 song playbook and the teams run plays from a 50 play playbook. I've seen more diving catches than Pearl Jam shows. Both events are the same and different at the same time.

Agree with the GA thread though and the need to have GA tickets for every freaking show.

This is also why I travel to concerts far more than sporting events. When I travel for PJ, I know I'll walk away happy. When I travel for sports, 1/2 the time I'm pissed that I spent a bunch of money only to see my team lose. I'm a pragmatic guy, so traveling for concerts is better for my happiness quotient.

Negative, unless they changed it. You will be competing against everyone that had it as 5th choice, and will only be considered after everyone that requested it 1-4 received tickets. It's not impossible though. I had Charlotte as choice 10 in 2013 and I got it.

I recommend not trying for Hampton. There will be a huge run on those GA's at the end. And my statement has nothing to do with the fact that it's 40 minutes from me.

I'm planning to fly to US for this tour... of course, NY and Phila are the most obvious destinations (not too many flights from Milan to South Carolina... : ) ... thus i hope, i'll be lucky enough, even if odds are against...

Otherwise, i'll start walking with a "ISO NY 1-2 GA tickets" sign...

i actually said the same thing to my friend yesterday. If I could make those shows I'd have put in for the VA/SC shows that no one wants to go to.

I'm hoping to get GA to Philly. If I do, I will have an extra ticket. It will be up for grabs. Maybe a trade for another night? I'm freaking out.

Got shut out of Toronto and Ottawa. If anyone has a spar for sale please let me know. Thanks. I'm going GA route as I'm hoping to eventually pair up. If I get one, I'll be open to trade and pay for a pair, reserved or GA, whichever. Thx.

Lost for the tough-draw MSG. Still really want to go as I caught 2 each in '03, '08 and 2010. Jammers always help out great and so I'm holding on to hope to score a ticket for each. If anyone can help, please message me. If you want a definite fail-safe that will definitely not flake on you, then I'm your guy. Can't wait to see you all for the pre-parties and shows!

Wow that sucks, hope you can make it to a few. But the way you ordered that with the odds and demand, you only really had a chance at # 1 and maybe 7 and 8. Just my opinion, please don't hate me.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

I agree. The order had a lot to do with why you got shutout.

Good luck, we're gonna try for Wrigley too :)

I really don't perceive a problem for me getting cheap seats for that Saturday show in Wrigley. Between the lottery, and the public sale, I really don't think I need to sweat.

    But I could be wrong.
    Wouldn't be the 1st time.

I think Monday will be cheap.. Kids go back to school that day..I'm going the same route for sat tickets..I remember my friends found cheap tix on streets the last go round..

If I remember correctly, there were 3 different tiers, when it came to Wrigley tix, when entering the lottery, the last time around.

    GA
    Lower Bowl
    Upper deck

And I am pretty sure 99.9% of the people who put upper deck as their 1st choice, got their seats.

    I don't need GA
    I don't need lower bowl.
My wife and I can go in the upper deck, buy a diet coke, have a grilled hot dog, and check out the show.

    Its all good.
Good attitude. I'm going to Lex and chose only that show so I'd hopefully get it, and did. I'll be happy if I'm in the last row too. As long as I'm there
    My first show.

You can't even really talk to each other during a concert. I don't actually understand why anyone really cares that much about who they standing next to at a show, lol. Your friend and his uncle will probably survive without you for a few hours. ;)
I personally wish 10C would start selling singles. I don't need to go with a friend - we're all friends at a PJ show. I'd rather save $86 USD during the ticket sale TBH.

For you people who do not pay attention to the odds.
For you people that are 100% obsessed with sitting in GA.
For you people who MUST go to 5-10 shows, and sit GA for every show.
For you people who make GA seats your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th choices..
And then end up with NO TICKETS for any shows....
