    My sources say that the new album will be called "1989" and will be PJ covering Ryan Adams who was covering Taylor Swift. Ed has decided to use a Vocoder for the entire LP. "Epic" doesn't even being to describe this record.

    If these rumored dates are remotely correct, I'd venture to say March/April 2016. I know Jeff mentioned the band was starting work on a new record after the South American tour and remember Eddie making comments over the past year or two about the next album having a potentially quick turnaround. Something about how it might be better to just get it out quickly, not make a fuss about it. Paraphrasing here because I can't find the source right now. I personally think this would yield a fantastic album.

    So the Lightning Bolt era is officially over. My prediction and what makes sense: An Ed solo tour in the early spring, maybe a select few summer tour dates or short summer tour, then a new album in fall 2017.

    Oh yeah, don't forget the Hall of Fame induction in April too.
