Something to look for in the shops this weekend...

BrothermoonBrothermoon West Kelowna, BC, Canada Posts: 475
Hey all. Gonna be hitting the shops this weekend. I always find myself flipping through the same sections. I'd love to hear some suggestions on what people are really digging right now, new, old or otherwise. Thanks, and have great weekend!!

I'm in North Carolina - I'm looking for umbrellas. And a boat. Or maybe an ark.

Hope your shopping is more enjoyable :)

Rival Sons, they are just plain old kickass blues fueled hard rock. =)

I think you mean music shop? I've been listening to We were promised Jetpacks lately. "these four walls" is my favorite album of there's.

The most recent Wallflowers album, Glad all over, is another one I really liked.

If you're looking for new, try Restorations. Everything by them is so good. Gary Clark Jr.'s new one is pretty good too. I have to give it a little more of a listen though. And for something a little older Pinback is pretty great. And for quite a bit older, Mason Profitt's first one. Came out in the late '60s I think. Has the song Two Hangmen. Good stuff. Happy hunting.

Check out Sean Rowe, his latest album Madman is very good. Hasn't left my car CD player in months. His cover of Vincent Black Lightning is fantastic.

Yeah same here, I did see the sun peek out today for like 10 min though.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

Agree on the Restorations suggestion. Will Johnson's new one Swan City Vampires is great. Also really like Lucero's new one All a Man Should

No problem. His live shows are great too. Would be a great opener for Ed next tour.
