Matt and Mike at Benaroya Hall tonight!!

Some Pearl Jam sightings at the Chris Cornell show at Benaroya Hall tonight! About 5-6 songs in, Chris brought out a cellist on stage and played a VERY cool acoustic version of "Fell On Black Days". When the song finished, he made a comment that there might be 3 guys in the room that might be able to play it that way - and introduced Matt, Kim, and Ben as they were sitting in the crowd near the stage. He played another song and talked about the last time he was at Benaroya playing - which was the Mad Season show. He commented on how special that night was and how he felt it really elevated the music scene in Seattle. He then introduced Mike McCready on stage as a guest!!! He and Mike both played "River of Deceit". Afterward he joked with Mike about having an album on the Billboard top 5 for classical music - saying that he doubted Mike would have thought of that while he was trying to learn Stevie Ray Vaughn riffs when he was 16. Mike stayed on stage for a second song, playing lead on "Hunger Strike" with Chris playing and singing a solo version of the song. All in all an amazing show and a really special night. For those of you who are seeing him on this tour - you are in for an awesome show!
