No, it's not bad. I really really especially miss Mike's guitar skills here though.

Very cool. It would be good to hear PJ play the studio version solo interlude every once in a while and place it in the middle of the main set.

Love Zac Brown Band, really underrated musicians IMO. They're well known for Toes and Chicken Fried but they are so much more than those 2 songs. They also cover Zeppelin, Metallica and Beatles. Great to hear them rip through PJ.

You're not the only one. I thought it was kind of boring.

The guitar solo was pretty good. Otherwise, meh. Zac Brown kinda annoys me as a vocalist. But thousands of ppl say that about EV, so...

I thought the guitar was the most boring part. Technically it's fine, but there wasn't any feeling in it IMHO.
But still, it's always nice to see our fave band being covered at other shows. Represent, lol.

Agree..can't get on board with the voice. Hard to compare any guitar solo to what we know it to be, too! That said, I respect the hell out of ZBB. Didn't know anything about them until the Nashville episode of Sonic Highways.

only a good thing when a group as popular as Zac Brown (3 sold out nights at Fenway is impressive) covers PJ.Maybe someone in the crowd checks out PJ because of it.

and Zac Browns new album has Chris Cornell singing on one the songs.

I just can't get into his voice. The band, on the other hand, is really talented.

For everyone talking about Zac Brown's voice, that wasn't him singing...
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Ha! Well, I don't like that guy either! But ZB himself still doesn't do it for me. Had to sit thru one of his shows on Qello one night while at a friend's house. Was ready to give myself a lobotomy.

It was pretty true to the original studio version I thought.

Yeah, technically. It just didn't have that special something, for me. But still, not bad. I don't think I have ever heard anyone cover Porch before (i have never heard a PJ tribute band).

Hunger Strike I like. That was very nice.

Porch was alright. Maybe if dude had climbed the scaffolding or something. :rock_on:

They covered Black awhile back. Obviously fans so gotta give 'em props. :plus_one:

Not really a fan of ZBB, but I thought they nailed it. It's no PJ, but hell, it's a cover. Well done.

Yeah, not knocking them *for* covering PJ, I just don't care for them in general. As pjhawks said, it's always a good thing when PJ is covered. Especially when it's a band as popular as ZBB and they are obviously fans, paying homage to their influences. After all, we love it when PJ covers their idols!
