Official Reasons why PJ doesn't play Florida

Many people ask me, "Why doesn't PJ play Florida?" I mean it's been over 20 years since they played Miami.

So I thought I'd start a list of all the crazy stories on the news which may lead us to why PJ doesn't play Florida. If you have any, feel free to post. Please post the reason number and then the reason.

Reason #132 - Woman calls 911 and says she is lost in the woods and doesn't know where to pee.

    I was there too. This was reason #5. Those 70 year old security guards are not as fast as they used to be.

    To Ed's credit, he handled it great.

    Ed comments about the "Arms race" going on in the US at European shows and has mentioned that Florida seems to be winning that race. That may deter them from making it a priority to play there.

    The beach show was probably mikes ideas as he was born in that area.

    A legit reason that has been stated before are the costs associated going all the way to Miami for the crew etc.. Makes a lot more sense to hit a lot of cities in a smaller area. End of the day.. they are looking to make money the easiest way. This reason goes for the South too. Lots of travel for a smaller fan base

    They could come here after South America. Miami is an international airport.

    They could play multiple nights as many fans from South America would fly to Miami to see them.

    They could start or finish the tour in Florida.

    They could stay with their relatives that live in our state or they can crash on my couch.

    Could be they had a bad experience or it could be because Dan Marino never won a Super Bowl. Never, ever. He just couldn't win the big one. Seasons and seasons just squandered away. All for nothing.

    Yes, Dan Marino is the reason that Pearl Jam doesn't play Miami.

    I live in Florida and it sucks PJ never comes here.

    Screw this.....we should start a "No more NY shows until Florida gets their shows" thread. I'm sick of NY getting PJ every tour.
