Backspacer/Lightning Bolt should b 1 album?

what do u think? BS & LB should have been combined to make one strong album instead of two albums that are. . . (I enjoy both albums but just saying I skip some songs. The previous 8 albums I never really skipped anything).

Anyway, here's a Tracklist that I think could be considered a very strong PJ album. Let's see your track lists for 1 BS/LB album (Lightning Spacer):

    I think that would have just made one really terrible album with a small handful of blessedly good ones mixed in. But that's just me.

    Can't stand Sirens. It was almost therapeutic to be able to get it off the album, hahaha. ;)

    In another thread with someone asking for a double album, I said "just listen to Backspacer and Lightning Bolt consecutively, there is your double album". I firmly believe they are the most similar consecutive albums of their entire discography, maybe due in part they are both their most commercially accessible. Insanely similar to me.

    Strong (read stronger) 2nd single to keep up the good vibe from the 1st one... and add a b-side for the 3rd single... Always loved a good b-side on a single!

    I completely agree. Lightning Bolt in my eyes is clearly the better album but they both come from the same mold.

    Interesting that you don't have infallible.
    I don't have any love for that song either. My ears are bleeding right now just imagining hearing it.

    Shocked to see so many still putting The Fixer on their album! To me it's a cheesy pop song that could easily be a Bieber song. Yes I believe it's that bad!! Their worst song by a wide margin.

    I kept it because it is a good live song. The crowds love it and it raises the energy level.

    If I was going to trim it down a little then The Fixer and Lightning Bolt would be cut but they're in for now as they're fun live.

    I think Johnny Guitar, Supersonic and Swallowed Whole would make decent b-sides (remember them?!)
    I'd happily scrap Sirens, Sleeping by Myself and Speed of Sound, not to mention the bloody awful Future Days and Force of Nature.

    I really enjoy both albums, so I cant imagine combining the two. The End and Force of Nature are in my opinion two of the bands most under rated songs. I do however have something to contribute here....
