Jeff's bassline on Infallible is genius

cp3iversoncp3iverson Posts: 8,640
Anyone else realize that? There's a sarcastic-ness to it that totally drives home Eddie's lyrics. It's really smart. The bounce that it has fits so well. This might be my favorite Jeff bassline ever. Dude is brilliant. Thats all i have to say :D

I always loved the bassline on Tremor Christ. Another slower kind of prodding rhythm. Both good tunes.

Agreed. Always enjoyed that line. Felt like the chord progression didn't give much direction, but he came up with something strong.

Swallowed Whole is another great one. Jeff really hit it out of the park on Lightning Bolt, imo!

Jeff on Present Tense live over the past 6 years or so has a much more ranging bassline than the studio version. It's easily my favorite.

    Everyine is right!
Some of his best bass can also be found on his side projects, FWIW.
    Jeff's the man. :)
