They don't seem to be doing much as PJ this year so if they were to play a show it will probably be close to home.

Gonna have to say Seattle because they seem to be getting lazy and that's in their backyard.

I pick Chicago for the sole reason that it's closest to me!

But MSG would be amazing, too...would give me an excuse to go home and visit my mom

yeah and look at the last 2 years the fans have taken it and made it into something bigger, plus all the PJ25 shit they will be able to pimp out, frankly I want some PJ25 shit, as a fan the 25 years means something to me, 25 is a much greater milestone than 20 because it is a quarter century, and since I don't see them playing 25 years from now, this will be the most significant milestone they will ever have, plus how many bands have played 25 continuous years without breaking up for a short time or not playing any shows one year, PJ25 means something and I want a shirt or a hoodie or something that says PJ25 on it, or a shirt with the setlist on it, that would be something cool

As I learned at Philly '13 and Denver '14, the anniversary date means nothing to them. Maybe it did in 2000, but it sure doesn't now.

Part hopefull, part reason... I would think they'd want to get as many as they could into this show. So this is my guess.

Yes way. Was there a show on 10/22/2010, which was the "real" PJ20? Nope.

with all the talk from the band of wanting to stop looking back (anniversary shows/weekends/box sets/etc), I don't see them doing it again. or at least not on purpose.

they did something cool at their 10th (playing MLB), and their 20th. I just can't see them doing more than that.

Am I the only one who is bothered by the verb use in the thread title?

Shouldn't it be "Where is... going to be" or "Where will...be"?

Anyway, a show that does not require a lot of travelling would be sweet. I loved the atmosphere at PJ20, so something like that would be awesome too. I have never been to The Gorge, so my vote goes there, even though it is not close to where I live

I think October 22 is a bit late in the year for Gorge shows? They usually don't seem to run past September. I'm guessing it's because the weather gets a bit more sketchy out there.

Maybe they could do it on the 25th anniversary of Ten. Late August show at the Gorge in 2016.

It would awesome if they played Seattle/Gorge. They definitely seemed to have slowed down in play hometown(ish) shows.

If folks are really hoping hoping for a 25th anniversary show then prepare to be greatly disappointed because I just don't see it happening. Seeing that they only officially recognized their 10th and 20th anniversary's as a band my guess would be that they would only do something on their 30th anniversary.

I guess we should also consider that many of the other anniversary dates happen to be during a tour of some sort.

As for PJ20, there was a movie that accompanied the weekend. In other words, there was something to promote other than the # of years.

Yup. Unless it's part of a tour, they won't do a one-off show for this. And this date won't be part of a tour as it's too close to the Latin American tour.
