I've enjoyed the last two albums... not my all time favorites but I like them. There is at least 4 or 5 songs on each album I love. There are also two or three songs that I skip on each. Overall I'm pretty happy if the band I love is still giving me 5 songs an album that are really good after almost 25 years.

I'm probably closer to a Backspacer hater than lover. I wouldn't be sad if they never played another song from Backspacer live again. And omigod, Just Breathe grates on my ears!
I do like The Fixer when they sing it live, because there's a part where all 5 guys are singing in unison. That, and because it's a Matt song Force of Nature is tolerable.
Saying that Backspacer rocks might be a bit of an overstatement but I did listen to it the other day for the first time in about 5 years and I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed (most of) it
I still love GSMF, Got Some and Johnny Guitar... everything else is pretty average although Amongst the Waves, Unthought Known, Speed of Sound and The End have grown a bit for me over time... I could still live without The Fixer (although that song has some potential but BO'B just kills it here), Just Breathe and Force of Nature (which just sounds like PJ covering Bon Jovi or some other dumb hair band.... once again, this song has some serious potential but BO'B just takes a big cheesy dump on it)
