I just saw it here:

It's certainly a moment that doesn't get a lot of mention, but it's probably one of the coolest moments in band history.

I've sung my praises of Kym many times. Beautiful energy, and the little dance at the end always makes me smile.

I'm so sorry to hear of this.

Could you post more information, please? I don't use Facebook and couldn't view the link.

It says she passed from an illness, and leaves behind a son. I always loved that video. Such a special live moment in pj's history.

Very sad. It's one of those videos I always show people who don't know PJ.

Thanks, Hugh. Guessing she was around my age, her son too young to lose his mother. I hope he knows what joy she gave to thousands of strangers in only a few minutes of music.

Hope he holds close all she was beyond that.

She was totally in the moment that song. Interpreting with passion and completely unafraid.

I always think to myself, "How many casual conversations have I had with people where that conversation was one of the last for my partner in dialogue?"

Everybody goes. It's just a matter of when.

Indeed she was...the way she was really trying hard to keep it professional, but you just know she wanted to break down and dance.

Apparently, some people can't watch the video. It's from the Touring Band 2000, Given To Fly. Put this at the end of any youtube video and you should be able to watch it just fine...if not, something on your computer is the issue.

I've watched that clip so many times. Who else but Eddie would do something like that! I'm so sorry to hear of her passing.

Damn she had to be young. Never take life for granted, take care of yourself and your family. Her family will be in my prayers tonight.

Man that sucks. For some reason this makes that time period even more long ago. RIP. Peace to her family. Nice that such a nice moment was captured.

Not that it really matters at this point, but copy & paste?

If not, maybe the Mods could supplement this if/when able.

So strange, how strangers can have such an impact.

I guess when they do, they're no longer strangers.

    Here's the post from Facebook:

I'm heartbroken to report that my good friend Kim has passed away, due to an illness. We became friends after I found about her interpreting this show on 10c forum. Then we became FB friends for years. Tried getting her to interpret for me at PJ20, but due to interpreting laws in WI, she couldn't. But she still continued to advocate for me and helped me educating the venue. We talked about getting her on my PJ interpreting team for a special show in the future and we both were so excited, we would finally get to meet in person! I was thrilled to have her finally interpreting for me. She leaves behind a little boy whom she loved so much. I just can't believe it, it's not happening. I'm heartbroken, she was one of the rare and good humble interpreters all around, and a very loving mom.

OP- This is a wide sweeping Facebook Statement posted by you that many members on this forum can't open.

Is there any other source that you have that states what you say is true?

On the same token could you provide us with an update of the missing 10c member please.

Yet one more reminder... spend each day as best you can, because you really, truly never know when you won't have the same choices of how you spend it anymore. RIP Kym, that really is an epic, classic, truly special moment in PJ history. Sending wishes of support and love and other loved ones to your son.
