notes: Eddie asks the crowd for help with the vocals after ‘Animal’ as his throat is plaguing him. In honor of Jeff’s birthday, ‘Happy Birthday’ is sung and Flea of the RHCP brings out a chocolate cake and a cake fight ensues. Flea joins sings a very fine version of Neil Young’s ‘The Needle and the Damage Done,’ introducing it as a song for “… Jeff and all of my loved ones.” (Footage of this appears in the un-talked about tour film.)

    I was there, what an awesome night. It was lots of fun with Flea and the cake fight. Encore 1 was amazing. I love listening to this boot.
    Anyone else go?

    what a short show...i think pi's main set is sometimes 98 minutes lol.

    i dunno about the zebra. it's a pretty overrated poster. i don't even know where mine is off the top of my head!
    Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

    Just listened to this show and I love how Eddie changes the line in I Got Shit from "picture an empty cup in the middle of the sea" to "picture an open coffin in the middle of the sea".
