    Obviously Stone wrote the music first. But in terms of lyrics "Footsteps" was written as part of the Momma-Son demo. They obviously were written close to each other. But from earlier accounts. footsteps was first. Although Times was released first.

    Without for me. The version from Rockline they put on the single is when I really fell in love with it. Just a guitar and Ed, no studio polishing. The power and rawness of Ed's voice blew me away on that version. It's still nice to hear live now, but it doesn't compare for me.

    We're you there when pearl jam performed mother on Fallon? I'm pretty sure there was a guy therewith the same shirt for that performance as well.
