Pappy for your Benny

So I just waited 18 hours in cold overnight conditions, but scored a bottle of 23 year old Pappy Van Winkle. Hopefully I'm allowed under the rules to post this here, but considering that the Pappy is virtually unattainable, and resales for about $2000, it seems analogous to a Benny (for a serious bourbon drinker at least), so if you have a Benny (preferably unsealed), and want to trade, please PM me.

I live in Vancouver, but am going to the Seahawks game Sunday, so if anyone in the Seattle area is up for a trade, you can have your holy grail of booze, and I can have my holy grail of vinyl.

    Their BC Liquor website only updates every 24 hours or so. I was 6th in line, so tomorrow when (if) you check, it'll say zero. They sold out to the first 9 people in line.

    It was actually quite fun line, several Americans had driven or even bussed up for the release. I guess because we have gov't liquor distribution in BC, we get a bigger (9) allocation of Pappys than WA State stores (e.g., because they buy more Buffalo Trace throughout the year, they get more rare stuff.

    I also waited 5 hours at the last Seattle (Showbox) pop-up, but got shut out. If I had known there were so many Bennys (I thought they'd have like 5, when in fact they had like 35), I would have just gone straight from the show to the Showbox.

    At this rate, I'm pretty sure you could trade your Pono for a Benny! ...44 pages of discussion...unreal! I'm really interested in hearing how it sounds.

    Sounds about right. I have some 25yr old rum I would trade?!?
