So... I have a little story to tell

TerryGTerryG La Crosse, WI Posts: 366
I waited in line at the St Paul merchandise trailer with my daughter, for oh about 5 hours, and in that time I met some cool people as I am sure everyone has. In particular the guy in front of us and two brothers behind us. Awesome guys, got to hear some good stories about other shows they have been to and all things Pearl Jam. All 3 were going to Milwaukee after St Paul but I wasn't. In fact St Paul was my first show. I asked them if they did end up waiting for merchandise at Milwaukee and if they didn't mind too much would they be willing to pick me up a poster and I would cover the cost with shipping. No problem, one or the other thought that would work. Like I said cool people.

So the other day a tube shows up at work and what's inside? a poster, stickers and pins with a note so I could email him. I did right away and wanted to get this great guy paid. His return email graciously insisted that what he sent was a gift welcoming my daughter and myself to the Pearl Jam family. I am a long time fan but my work is kinda a bitch and days off are tough to come by, What a dumbass, the show was incredible, never again will I miss a chance to see them play

The point of this long story is this one act of kindness should be repaid, pass it forward if possible. Thank you Greg!!!
I have 2 extra St Paul posters that I would love to send out for free, preferably to someone who didn't score one at the show. I saw them run out inside the same time they ran out of stickers at least at the stand we was at. My daughter got the last 3 stickers.

PM me, If you were at St Paul and didn't get a poster, first 2 people can have our extras.

Terry

Not a poll, not a rant, not someone trying to shove the idea that he/she is a better fan...

Refreshing. Postively refreshing. Thank you for changing it up around here.

Thank you so much TerryG! You're the raddest! You've made my month for sure. That Viking is my brother to a tee. Had to get it. You're story reminds my of the Oakland show last year. Ed gave me a few pics & told me to see they got to fans. I handed them out to the fans next to me. When I got to the hotel, a gal recognized me from the show. Said she had a wonderful time. I reach in my pocket, gave her a pick. The joy it brought her was so neat. Keep the faith brother and thanx again!!
