B-sides versus Lost Dogs

Some of the songs used different versions for B-sides when compared to Lost Dogs

Who can name all the differences?

This is part trivia and part "help me sort this out"
I know I was born and I know that I'll die. The in between is mine.

Black Red Yellow as a B-Side to Hail Hail is 2:59 in length. LD version is 3:30. Noticeably, the "jam" is much shorter on the B-Side version by about 0:25

Footsteps as a B-Side, no harmonica

Dirty Frank has no ode to RHCP as they leave out the 'cook em just to see the look on their face...' Big shame.

Yes. Ed re-recorded a number of vocal takes on Lost Dogs. The original version can be found on the 'Go' single. I prefer that version.

Dirty Frank version makes a fool of Ed as they keep playing after he says I think we've had enough.

I was not aware of all the different versions, and as I had all the singles, I actually waited until Christmas of that year to get this album from a family member - what a young, dumb fool I was.
