Question about trading tickets

I'm a little confused about the whole trading of tickets. If I trade say 1 Detroit for 1 Moline - I give the ticket for Detroit to the person I am trading with - You have no way of knowing if the person will show up in Moline. Am I missing something?

And yes, I would like to trade (1) Detroit GA for (1) Moline GA

    Trade with people on here (not Craigslist) who have a history of posting and a good reputation and it should be ok. You can get screwed in any transaction, but hopefully real fans wouldn't do that to each other. For some added security, ask them to forward their 10C confirmation email to you.

    There was someone somewhere on here (see TICKET SCAM) where they asked 10c for confirmation of whether that individual purchased 10c tix. They found out that the individual hadn't (at least not with their membership number) so they were saved from the whole mess of thinking that they had a ticket when they didn't. I agree w G2F, stay on here. You have less risk of unsavory folk just trying to screw you.
