18 years ago tonight

I stood inline with a couple hundred people to pick up No Code at Midnight! Oh how times have changed. And I'm old.

Happy birthday No Code! The greatest Pearl Jam album. Just my opinion.
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

I remember doing the same thing, although there were at lot less than a couple hundred people. I saw Neil Young at Great Woods and picked up No Code on the way home. Cannot believe it has been that long.

    Ahh, great times!

I did the midnight madness sale with a friend also. We went to Quansenhut Records in Middleburg Heights, OH (Cleveland suburb) and got the album & cd. We got pretty cool PJ NC t-shirts too. I have mine still, I just have to remember where I put it & go find it! Lol

I remember starting to listen in the car and then continuing back at his apt. I can't tell you how long we spent checking out all of the Polaroids and the rest of the packaging while listening.

Great album (my favorite, or at least 1 of them!)

    Great era of PJ!

I got vs at midnight but waited til after work for No Code.

Put it right in my honda CD player. I clearly remember thinking "how can this be so different yet so incredibly, unbelievably great" I had to listen to In My Tree over again. I pulled over during Red Mosquito and started looking at the Polaroids and jacked after Lukin.

Wow, thanks for reminding me about that release. I didn't join ten club at that point because...ya know...it ain't cool to join a fan club. Whoa, was I wrong
    I found my place......and it's alright

I still remember the line of customers being let into the store and the line wrapped around from front to back. They had the album playing as we waited to purchase and Sometimes was playing and then... Hail Hail kicked on... and the line started to cheer! Ahhh No Code.
