Sad news, he produced, recorded and played on some very influential and classic records, one in particular being the reason we're all here on this forum, of course.

To say he and the band didn't see eye-to-eye would be putting things lightly, but I don't think Ten would have been as successful without his production.

RIP RIck Parashar - he's been instrumental in some of my most favourite albums. Here's another link: http://www.inquisitr.com/1414945/rick-parashar-producer-who-helped-create-iconic-seattle-sound-has-died/

Did the band put out any tributes about him? Just wondering.

very sad news indeed. he worked on so many great records that shaped my musical landscape. Temple, Ten, Sap, and i'd forgotten about Blind Melon. R.I.P. You helped give a lot of people happiness with your work..

Yeah, that album managed to sound both slick and live at the same time. Perhaps Parashar at his finest.

Great job with the guitars on that record too.....
wish he could've captured that on TEN.

Which one do you have? I bought the recent colored vinyl release and think it sounds great.
