What's Next - After the 2014 US Tour

I have heard thru numerous friends and individuals that are close to the band that we might not see Pearl Jam for a long while after this 2014 US tour. Numerous band members want a long extended breaks with family and there is no willingness to go back into the studio and record anytime soon. I hate to say it but DENVER might be the last of Pearl Jam "LIVE" for many years to come. I will attend Lincoln NE and "SHOW #50" in Denver CO both GA floor this tour and can't wait. I expect epic shows both nights.

Probably some time off and then they'll individually start putting some little dittys together and then get together and take the pearl jam to the next level, whatever that is.

It's part of them and they made the commitment to take it where the universe calls it.

Lol.. I'm not that deep on it.

I would expect a few years of small summer tours (like a handful of dates and some festivals). I know the guys aren't all about the money, but they have been making more dough that most of us for a few decades now. You have to earn to keep up that standard of living. It's not like the old days where they would do 3 legs and take a few years off. The tours are pretty small now, and it seems they do a handful of shows every year just to keep some income coming in.

So that's why I expect. PJ's like any of us. They've gotten used to their standard of living and need to pay the bills :) If tours are small then they probably can't take full years off.

I think these same rumors have been going on after every tour for the last decade. There will be a few shows in 2015, maybe not very many, but a handful at least. As for the studio, I expect a break similar to the last one between albums.

My guess is maybe some festival dates. Hard to turn down that money
