It's the best version i've heard. Mike is just killing it.

I still love this song and I can't wait to see it live in Oct. Funny story, I actually got pulled over for speeding while listening to this song recently! It's only funny because I got off with just a warning, but I must say, open highway and this song can be dangerous!

I like this conversation. This song is the albums namesake. Nough said.

I find the verse melody a little bit childish but overall great song. great intro and outro. Besides, the slowing down in the middle is good for clapping. A lot of parts suited for jumping and dancing. Just great. Especially live.
What's your part, who you are?

It's a really solid song, and it has definitely gotten better the more I've listened to it (same with Infallible).

I was in front for Worcester #1 and one of the highlights was Ed rocking out in the outro of "Lightning Bolt"...It was awesome, we could see the sweat flying off of him as he went side to side with the guitar.

Yup...I was right there with you.
Have had this version in heavy rotation recently. The song is so good live. Loving it.

My 10 year old loves this song (as do I). In Denver I called her from the floor and just let her listen to the whole thing, she was in heaven. Eddie even says this one is for Hannah before he starts the song which was an amazing coincidence (you can guess my daughter's name).

She thinks it is about Eddie's daughters which is one way to interpret it. It could also be about the song writing process and then finished product. Both are interesting interpretations and make sense lyrically. My little cutie is sold though and I will go ahead and let her hear it however she wants!

yeah, from about the bridge on it is amazing. Watching Fallon made me appreciate it more. One of their better TV performances.
