    30 hours well fucking spent

Wow, 30 hours on line, and people complain about spending 30 minutes on line hitting F5. Anyone who sat in front of their computer for 30 hours deserved those tickets!

30 hours on an actual line....outdoors

Was there actually a line painted on the ground, or were you just standing "in" a line?

Neither is Terminal 5, which seems like the go-to venue these days in NYC even though it's the worst. If they're planning to do a free 10C only show, I think T5 will be the largest venue considered (capacity 3000).

Disagree. Other than being way out of the way (by Manhattan standards), T5 is an awesome place to see a show. But, feel free to skip this if they play there.

    I 100% ABSOLUTELY DISAGREE

T5 is garbage - Ive been seeing shows in NYC for 20 years and it is the worst venue in NYC...no phlow, 2 floors are garbage and no sight lines from upstairs - to each their own though dude

I wish they would do ROSELAND

Just FWIW , all of Brooklyn and Queens are on Long Island.
The " city " ends at the Nassau line.

    Hi neighbor!
I'm kind of amazed at all these 1110x members. Fun fact: I did not learn that zip codes started with anything other than 1110 until I was 17 years old :fp:

Thats another thing I was thinking. If they limit tickets to only 'nyc' zip codes to some people that could very easily mean only 100xx zip codes. Which would suck!

Or awesome, if you have that zip code.

Excited to see this rumor, but I'm not holding my breath.

Hey, I wouldn't mind Roseland or pick T5 over it. And, maybe I've just been lucky with the spot I've gotten when I've gone to T5 (and, I'm not one to sit and wait, so I just show up). I always go up stairs, and it's great - bar access, no grappling for space. And you feel like you're on top of the band. I can see if you're the last one in and standing by the coat check.

I have no idea what you mean by no flow. But, anyhoo. Like I said, maybe I was just lucky.

EDIT: One thing that definitely does suck about T5 is location because it's kind of a haul.

The Irving Plaza line was pretty hilarious. I also waited in line for 30 hours or so... maybe less than that... I don't remember what time it was... I remember buying a lawn chair from Dwayne Reed and cheeseburgers from McDonalds.
