From today's Chicago Tribune...
Jam session: Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder watched batting practice behind the cage before Saturday's game after spending time in Seattle with Cubs President Theo Epstein.
Cubs outfielder Scott Hairston, a huge Pearl Jam fan, admitted it was a bit nerve-wracking.
"My hands were shaking," Hairston said. "I turned around and saw him, and I was like 'Is that really him?'"
Vedder hugged some old friends from the Cubs, including clubhouse manager Tom "Otis" Hellmann and assistant clubbie Gary Starks.
"He's as down to earth as anyone you'll ever meet," Epstein said.
Pearl Jam will make its Wrigley Field debut July 19.

Whoa! What a trip to see his hair cut. Guess that's a wrap for the longer hair.
Different pic.

frankly, I like the new look. He kind of looks a little like my dad who passed away when I was 16. He took me to my first PJ show. Thanks Ed, for the unintentional tribute to my father. Time to go listen to Release now.0
