Why haven't we talked about this album?!  Wow.  Great stuff.  Definitely needed to grow on me a little, but I'm fully in love with it.

    Favorite tracks right now are:

    "Fear Is Like A Forest"
    "Outta The Woodwork"
    "Continental Breakfast"
    "Untogether"

They play a sold-out show at the Palace Theater tomorrow night in St. Paul.  Can't wait.  I purposely haven't been looking at set-lists, so please, no spoilers.

Here is an article from the Star Tribune with an interview with them this week.

Yeah, really good album. It's been on solid rotation here:)
Interested to hear what you think about the show. I've tix to see them in Nashville (@ The Ryman!!) in a couple of weeks.

GREAT show.  I felt like I was in 1995.  Really heavy, alt-rock feel.  These two really have a great chemistry.  They don't say much, but you can tell they are well-suited to one another.

They played everything off the album but "Peeping Tom," and then a few of their own songs each.

Highly recommend getting to these shows if you can.

Smoke Ring For My halo is is most popular/best
Waking On A Pretty Daze probably his next best album.

Dang...tough call.  Anything since Smoke Ring is great, but once you're in, don't sleep on the old stuff.

No no no...his last album is great.  Really good actually.

Lotta Sea Lice is a collaboration with Courtney Barnett and more of a Courtney Barnett album in my opinion...very light, breezy, quirky.  It's actually titled in her name. I'd argue that Courtney's quirkiness has rubbed off on Kurt (whoa...read that sentence again 25 years ago and who does that make you think of?), at least in his lyrics.  Not a bad thing, but just something I've observed.  So Lotta Sea Lice is more of a Courtney album in my opinion.  I like it, but I'll take KV's other stuff.

    Anyway...B'lieve is a GREAT album.
