its so good to talk about music and shows at porch forum..

Yes it's nice to talk about shows instead of stuff like stickers, backpacks, ticket lotteries and unopened overpriced vinyl .

Haven't seen it live yet, but you people are so fortunate to have heard this at a show - even more so for some of you who heard it multiple times. Easily one of my favorite PJ songs and defnitely in my top 3. It's my holy grail song to hear live at a show.

Really hoping and wishing it gets busted out at Wrigley. I've called it as the opener and think it would be the perfect opener for Wrigley. If it is I am going to lose my shit.

I hope so D - you're calling it as the opener as well yeah?

Just an amazing song that is rarely played. Powerful song and would love nothing more than to hear that opening riff to start off a show.

waited and waited for it, even wore a ridiculous neon "play H2i Pussies" shirt standing in line all day at the VIC....well they did play it that day and it was magic!

Then Again at MSG, DC, and Chicago....maybe Wrigley????

My fav PJ tune for whatever reason it was the right song at the right time when I first heard it on a bootleg in mid 90's as a demo.

I don't post much at all but this topic is close to our heart.
Bonnarroo 08 was amazing, a foreshadowing of a night to be remembered but
    Berlin 2012 was special.
Background: We used the lyrics for the birth announcement of our second son. The cover had a picture of us and our first son kissing the big belly of his future baby brother with the caption "things were different then" followed on the next page by a picture of big bro kissing his new born baby bro on his forehead with the caption, "All is different now"
Prague 2012: We had the ultimate privilege and thrill of a lifetime of meeting Ed outside the hotel and we were able to tell him the story. He was genuinely touched.
Berlin 2012: Night one we were floored that he in fact dedicated HTI to us and can be heard on the bootleg "Over there from New York City"
One of the best songs ever from the BEST BAND EVER.

It's hard to imagine but I've been fortunate enough to catch this Lost Dog 7 times to date:

    '98 Montreal
    '05 London
    '06 Grand Rapids
    '07 Chicago (Vic Theatre)
    '08 NYC
    '08 Mansfield
    '09 Chicago

It just dawned on me the song wasn't played at any of the '09 Spectrum shows, which I found surprising.
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

MSG 2008 was my only viewing of this song...

Great opener, but, and go ahead and blast me, it's not my favorite....

It is just fucking hard to top Release... good on way too many levels...

I am dying to see them open with Sometimes into Breakerfall... those are 2 of my favs and I think would be an amazing opening combination...

    hopefully soon...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

Was 1 row back from who ever had the camera to hi's right great version my fav opener ...

wow, so we have sat close together because I was right behind this person. I won 2nd row lottery that night and was right in this position, I didn't see my self when they panned to the crowd, so strange to see the song from my exact view and the way I remembered it, I remember Mike waving his hand through the song lol

Yep when the camera panned to the right i saw myself for a second , funny to think i was very close to you that night ..
