definitely no Astoria bootleg!!!!!!!!!

i just went onto the new and very shiny bootleg download manager

if you click on 2006 then it just shows the US first leg dates.. Astoria and Irving Plaza not there... i repeat...not there

bollocks!!!

my first PJ gig and i wont have the sonic memento i so craved!!!
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    I just tried accessing the bootleg page and it's down for maintenance. Where did you see the 2006 information listed?

    As for Vault show - ten years time then ;)

    just clicked on Goods on Tenclub page! and then it has a new screen

    i just noticed on the screen grab that the windows i have opened are shown on the bottom of the screen

    good job i didnt have any granny porn sites open at that point ;)

    Hmm I clicked through that way too and I got the old page. Hmmm

    As for Granny porn sites, well I was told earlier that someone would dump their missus for me, as I didn't object to them! ;)

    I have just logged in also, and no boot for astoria :(

    Ah well at least we can convince ourselves there will be a DVD release to fill the void.

    This has depressed me, ah well at least three will be one for Dublin.

    They never made the 2 warm up shows at the Showbox available for 2003, although there was the dvd. That is just the way it is. There is an audience recording available in the Let's Trade thread.

    AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!

    i was constantly checking the bootlegs page for the last couple of days in hope of an astoria boot...
    now i come back from the pub and dunk says there's none...

    i kinda expected this because they usually don't release warm-up shows...
    but it would make sense to release the astoria gig...
    it was the first time some of the new songs were played...
    lots of people missed out on tickets but would probably rather buy the bootleg of a show close to home (i.e. europe) than one from the northern america legs...
    it was a very special, intimate gig...
    lots of great moments... many people would buy it...

    i was even desperate enough to listen to pegasus' recording multiple times (thanks again!)...

    we could start a petition...
    but these never work out anyway...

    well, it's late, i'm tired, i'm pissed and pissed off - i should go to bed really :D

    I e-mailed 10C yesterday asking them to put us out of our misery - will there or won't there be an Astoria boot?

    Their reponse:

    "Sorry, nothing can be confirmed at this time."

    Not a yes BUT not a no! Keep the faith - don't you think they would have said NO if it was completely out of the question? Or am I being too optimistic?
