Singles Soundtrack - Music on Vinyl - Reissue Status

Since everyone did so well keeping everyone updated on orders, shipping, etc for the Into the Wild vinyl re-release over here, http://community.pearljam.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=141373

I think we should do the same for the Singles Soundtrack reissue.

Where did everyone order?
Any updates affecting order fulfillment or release/shipping dates?

I ordered mine from musicdirect http://www.musicdirect.com/for $29.99 USD, but they don't even have it listed on their website anymore.

I noticed that soundstagedirect has it listed for $34.99 USD, but isn't currently taking orders. http://www.soundstagedirect.com/singles-original-motion-picture-soundtrack-import-180-gram-vinyl-lp.shtml

I also saw the cdwow is still taking orders for $29.49 USD with a release date of 10/25 http://www.cdwow.us/home/soundtrack-singles-180-gram-vinyl/dp/15625449

Is the release date 10/25 accurate as far as we know?
I'm a bit worried that music direct doesn't have it listed any more, does anyone who has experience ordering with them (good or bad) think I should also place an order with cdwow in case it is not fulfilled or is that just my vinyl paranoia? ;)

I ordered mine through cdwow right after it started looking like Into the Wild might be a problem and Soundstagedirect stopped taking orders....

I also place my order today for the Mad Season reissue to with Soundstage to make sure I am in... I am thinking this all has to do with the Sony import issue people have been talking about

I pre-ordered Singles from Music Direct with a release date of 11/30 at the time of order. Haven't heard anything from them (didn't expect to) so I'm hoping everything is still okay.

I've paid for it too over @ SoundStageDirect last year. Would be great if they updated the page for that & the Mad Season - Above Vinyl release.

Time for a refund I think, I'm not having something on pre-order for 12 months.

Flat Out . soundstage has no clue . there just moving the date around Keeping that money coming .

Soundstage knows Both " Mad Season" & "Singles" are top sellers and they don't even have official release dates..

When these two LP's do get released and start shipping there is not going to be any kind of shortage . ;)

Time for a refund I think, I'm not having something on pre-order for 12 months.

I went ahead & sent them an email to cancel & refund me the purchased orders.

I preordered Mad Season Above vinyl on 10/01/10 & Singles Soundtrack on 9/18/10. It's coming close to a year & every 2-3 months they keep changing the dates that it will be released. Now they have no clue.

Received a quick reply yesterday evening from SSD. Got both orderes canceled. They won't be able to credit our CC orders cause they were placed 60 day's ago. So they can only refund us via PayPal, store credit or check in the mail.

I was told by SSD that they were pressed and just waiting for "signature" from Music on Demand. So not sure what is going on.

Just received this email from What Records this morning.

Just an update on the Singles OST and Mad Season Above Vinyls.

MOV are currently waiting for the go ahead from the PJ management. We hope to get a definite release date very soon and will advise further shortly.

Sorry for the delay but its out of our control.

    Cheers

Seems strange that PJ would dictate the Singles release as they only had 2 songs on the album (I guess 3 if you count MLB). And Mad Season has only Mike. Something doesn't make sense. Anyone wanna fact check this with PJ management since they are being blamed for the delay???

It is weird. Both releases are by Epic / Columbia .. Sony Music. Wouldn't the issue be with them then PJ management? I wonder if there was a huge problem with PJ management on the reissue of Judgement Night on vinyl.
