I have a shitty nno name turntable dare I open my seal R.A., Lost Dogs, and Avacado??? I just dont want to scratch em up is all....................... I often debate myslef about this subject..........................................................

    turntable has little bearing on scratching them up. it's the stylus that matters. and most styluses (styli?) are universally replaceable, so go buy a good stylus and you'll be fine...

    Not all Styli work on all turntables. The older your turntable is, the harder it will be to find a stylus, if they are even available.

    DiRtYyELLoWoCeAn, do you have any other records you can play on this turntable to make sure it works properly? If so I would try that before putting fresh vinyl on it.
