How about a PJ 20th anniversary "Rags to Riches" tour?

What do you guys think? Make a full evening out of it, bring along all sides bands ever etc...
Start the show off with Soundgarden, Green River, Rockfords, Deranged Diction, Shadow and Bad Radio. Give 'em one or two songs each.
Then move onto Temple of the Dog, Brad, Three Fish, maybe Flight to Mars and Wellwater Conspiracy can go in there, then let Eddie (with and without C Average), Stone, and Jeff do their solo things.
Finally, the grand spectacle: Pearl Jam, billed at the beginning as Mookie Blaylock, with a backdrop of the Offramp, and follow their journey (with all sorts of rarities thrown in there) from drummer to drummer, era to era, brilliant album to brilliant album.
Now THIS would be an evening to remember.

one show like that ... fine.

a whole TOUR like that ... no thanks.

Can't imagine a bunch of folks (and there are a lot of bands you mention there) would go on tour to play 1-2 songs a night.

I agree, it'd have to be one show, maybe at MSG or something. I think, unrealistic as it is, it would be pretty damn memorable.

I just checked that out - sounds cool, but there's a lot of ambient noise at my workplace so I'll check it out at home again. Radically different from PJ, eh?
