Better Unplugged AIC or Nirvana?

AIC was the better performance. Nirvana's was great, and of course their performance of The Man Who Sold the World was phenomenal, but nothing gives me chills like AIC's Unplugged performance of Nutshell.
I keep AIC's Unplugged in HEAVY rotation, but only pull out Nirvana once in awhile.
AIC is the better performance. So that's it...in a nutshell.<a href="http://www.shawnsmithsinger.com">Shawn Smith</a> / <a href="http://www.thebandbrad.com">Brad</a> / <a href="http://www.allhailthecrown.com">All Hail the Crown</a> / <a href="http://www.satchelpartnership.com">Satchel</a>

AIC for sure...Nirvana's is good though..real good but AIC's is the best of all time of any band that I've seen..honestlyMaster of Zen0

Of the two, I prefer Nirvana, but my favorite Unplugged shows (other than Pearl Jam) are Bob Dylan and Neil Young."Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." ~ MLK, 19630

The better band was AIC
The better Un-Plugged was Nirvana's
The AIC unplugged seemed so programmed and dull to me
Live had a great unplugged - Too bad that band went to shitI'll keep taking punches
Untill their will grows tired0 -
in my opinion the two of them are way better than pj unplugged set layne just looks a mess in the video the gloves and sunglasses and all black outfit get the impression it wasnt his choice to do this but the delivery of nutshell will never be beat but kurt was supposedly a nervous wreck before their show fearing he would fuk up and his songs would be found out the way they stripped down about a girl just shows genious and where did you sleep last night still sends shivers down my spine in the video wen his eyes just open as he screams so much passion but both are just legendry performances from two of the best bands of the 90's0

wow, i didnt realize so many people liked hearing layne's awful vocals.Cheat the odds that made you

Aic"So, you must really love Led Zeppelin. That’s the oldest shirt I’ve ever seen on someone who wasn’t a bum."
"Hey, if God didn’t want me to wear it so much, he wouldn’t have made them rock so hard."0 -
AIC 4 sure!Everybody made a movie....
Everybody had a one line.....
Everybody misses Andy....
We'll be seeing him in no time.... Oh Yeah.....
We are Red, we are White, we are Danish Dynamite!0 -
They are both awesome but I like the nirvana a little more.0

AIC. Got Me Wrong and Down in a Hole! amazing.IF YOU WANT A PLATE OF MY BEEF SWELLINGTON, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY THE COVERCHARGE.0

I prefer AIC the best. Then the Nirvana. Then PJ. Of course, it's really comparing apples to oranges as far as the set lists go. PJ was still touring the Ten album. Nirvana had 4 albums to choose from. AIC had 5 (including the 2 EP's). A lot of Nirvana's stuff might not have translated to acoustic but that might have been a better show if they tried more material.
Now if PJ came back on Unplugged NOW, that would be a different story.
Other Unplugged shows that I thought were great: Aerosmith, Queensryche (Scarborough Fair was bone chilling), Clapton, REM #1."Caught a bolt 'a lightnin'...cursed the day he let it go..." - EV0 -
nirvana easy pick.
the pj show is kinda boring. the highlight of the show, atleast what gets talked about the most is eddies marker stunt. what about the songs?
aic is cool but it seems to be a 'lets play our hits' show and the string buzz on that show makes it hard for me to listen to it loud cause it just annoys me to no end.
nirvana was just awesome the fact that there was no smells like teen spirit or lithium. and the whole grunge guests werent pj. yet the show is just classic. aside from some pj boots nirvana unplugged is my favorite commercially released live album.
i think im gonna listen to nirvana's unplugged now.0 -

lol, come on...I acknowledge that there are a few tracks where it's a bit painful to listen to his vocie straining, but for the most part, Layne has one of the best vocal deliveries in all of rock & roll.<a href="http://www.shawnsmithsinger.com">Shawn Smith</a> / <a href="http://www.thebandbrad.com">Brad</a> / <a href="http://www.allhailthecrown.com">All Hail the Crown</a> / <a href="http://www.satchelpartnership.com">Satchel</a>
