I own and love every fucking Rush album, but I don't care if they ever are put in. Does it really matter? I consider the Hall of Fame meaningless except for the occasional good induction speech. But I'm sure they will be there soon... probably next year.

I know, in the scheme of life it doesn't mean anything, but in a way it would be cool.

Have you seen their list of the 200 most definitive albums? Only 1 Rush is on there, 2112 and it is #198.
Creed is #95 who makes these lists up?
Avril whats her name is higher than Rush WTF???

2112 is awesome. Can not believe that is the only one that made the list. Creed and Avril suck. Rush should be there and will be there some day. I think Genesis pre and post Peter should be there. Yes should there. King Crimson should be there. The Pixies should be there!!!!

    Rush kicks ass.

The states has some horseshit bands as well.

Plus, Neil Young is from Canada.

I've been wondering this stupid question now for about three years. It really angers me knowing they aren't, when they really should be.

I don't think RUSH gives a SHIT whether or not their in the RRHOF. They're professionals musicians and care only about their style of music and fans like myself that love their music. It's the same thing that they've never been on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine they don't give a damn it's really only a title or a picture. Some bands find that gratifying I believe they don't.

I saw them month or two ago in Palm Beach, FL and Bristoe, VA and they packed the place 25+ thou and this after 30 years of touring. They were honestly the BEST RUSH shows I've seen and I've seen them all except one since g under p.

It's funny though that their first show ever in the US was you guessed it was in Cleve fucking land. Go figure.

Rush don't need no fricking Hall of Fame...in through THE CAMERA EYE one of my favorites. I just love Neil's drumming on this track, all the different paces and tempos.

Point taken. But at the same time, we've also given you Neil Young, The Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, The New Pornographers, The Tragically Hip, Feist, Sarah Harmer, The Weakerthans, Sam Roberts Band, Kathleen Edwards, Wintersleep, Matt Mays & El Torpedo, Metric, Sloan, Hayden, and countless other brilliant artists.

    You're welcome.

They would be a disgrace to the rock and roll hall of fame. Absolutely dreadful band and those screeching woman vocals do not help at all.

coming from someone with a thirdgrade username and constantly bashes emo bands, i myself hate them but i dont give a shit enough to bash them.

and by the way geddy lee, whether you like his voice or not has one of the most, if not the greatest vocal range in rock, i saw them recently and how old is he now, like mid-late 50's and his voice still sounds incredible.

and this is apparently coming from someone who has such great taste in music.

They should definitely be in, if only for Neil Peart drumming ferocity. Those guys are all monster players and you hear them and you instantly know its them. Sure their not everybody's cup of tea but if Skynyrd is in Rush should be in. They both fill a very small niche in the rock scope.

Why most certainly. However it goes much further than that which I may get into later. I have to fix lunch for my patient.

I dont consider all those to be brilliant artists, the only artists I really like alot from Canada are Neil Young and The Guess Who...........Canada has given the world way more shit bands than quality bands.
