Blue October - anyone see them live?

I have a chance to see themlive at Irving Plaza in a few weeks.
Dont know much about them.
Can someone advise me on their music or their live performance?

    i can't stand them. then again i lived in a town for 3 years where they played constantly and it's easy to get sick of hearing about a local band that much. i'd dig a little deeper for something else, or better. oh, and this thread goes in 'other bands'.

    they are horrible live...saw them at at radio station festival here and they are no good and thats putting it lightly

    i cant even think of the song they sing but i remember hearing it once and it was bad... so if the studio version of their only wellknown song blows than clearly theyll suck live...

    I was supposed to see them back in May in Pittsburgh as part of the Jagermeister tour but there lead singer apparently got hurt so they didn't show up. And from what I know about them I am glad he got injured. They suck.
