Advice on Tix Exchange

Has anyone figured out the most secure way to do the exchange?

Dude has 2 balcony extras for Chicago that I REALLY want to take off his hands. Only problem is he lives in OKLA and I am down here in NC. Ebay and paypal are both taking risks.

HELP??????

    Use PayPal. If he screws you over, you can make a complaint w/ PayPal, who ALWAYS side with the BUYER...they will give you a 100% refund. PayPal is GREAT for Buyers, but BAD for sellers!

    I've been lucky, but the people that I've sold/bought tickets with have gone well, and the buyer sends a check or Paypals the money, and as soon as that clears, the seller sends the tickets, with delivery confirmation...
    Need a tour Travel Agent??? Pick me :-)

    Get a trustworthy 3rd Party, both you and seller are comfortable with, to handle the exchange?

    Or what the others posted seconds before i hit submit. PayPal is the way to go :)

    Yep...

    I'm a graphic designer and do freelance/independent work (aside from my full time job), and i was exploring some ways to have my clients digitally pay their invoices online. I checked into it more, and my designer colleagues said that they won't use PayPal anymore because they've gotten completely screwed - and for no reason other than their client is a jerk and knew they could get their money back, and did so. They invoiced, the client paid. Then the client made a "fake" complaint, and paypal immediately sided w/ the buyer and got their $ back - even though the designer did a great job, and delivered what was promised. Totally sucks for the designer who did nothing wrong at all. Hence why its good for buyers, but bad for sellers. :) Make sense?

    absolutely. there has to be a way to protect both the buyer and seller in situations/exchanges like this.

    you would think so, but nope! Although that does get my wheels turning!

    I wish there was a music ticket exchange site where music fans can post tickets to sell or for trade using a secure server for making transactions, AND selling for face value ONLY. :)
