I know about inforoo, have gotten a ton of information from there.
But I want to ask here.

My only "major" purchase left is my canopy. All else is done!
Anyone have any suggestions? Right now my first choice is a Coleman.

'd go coleman, for sure...hey are strongest and seem to work for the best in these situations. For myself I've invested in a screened in tent to cover over me tent for extra squito protection.. been to TN I know for sure this is what to do!! It's a humid son of a bisquit eater out there in the summer!!! see all ya cool fellow fans out there.. I'll be the one blasting PJ all day!!!! He he that narrows that down right??Lol

They had a section of the merchandise tent that was only for the PJ poster.
If I remember right, I think they sold out by noon on that Sunday...So get there early.

The more I look at the potential of how good this Bonnaroo set could be. The more I smile (smirk type smile). Reasoning being:

    1) 3rd night they play on the tour. Enough to get the kinks out.

    2) There is going to be a lot of people there that have not seen them. Kind of like when they played Palooza. You could tell that they took the stage to make a point if you will.

    3) Longevity...at the Roo you can play as long as you want. 35 songs minimum.

Please add any other reason why you are smirking about this show...

Trying to find my way to the 'roo. Coming from Cincy, OH. Let me know if anyone out there has an extra ticket or seat in the car. Also looking for other 'roo volunteers going wednesday leaving Sunday. PM me if we can work something out. Thanks.

Yeah, it would be pretty sick...hopefully it happens. Maybe an acoustic set and then electric?

After reading about the announcement in another thread on the MP , I checked Pollstar within the last hour. Still a big hole where Saturday used to be. RE: PJ, I couldn't see PJ playing two nights. The 14th fits their sked to a t. Playing the 13th could mean playing 4 nights in a row(11, 12,13, their rumored 14th slot). Playing the 15th could also mean 4 in a row(14,15,16,17). I saw them three in a row..all cities in close proximity ... in Ontario ( 05) , but never 4.

OK, Inforoo has lots of rumors flying. Neil Young would make a whole lotta sense. I wonder who would come out and play with NIEL YOUNG!!?!

Lets see, who else? Clapton and of course the Led Zep rumors still swirling.
I hope it's not Roger Waters. Not in the mood for him at all.
Oh my, who could it be?

Still hoping for Les Claypool, but not big enough to be the BIG announcement I don't think.

I'll be surprised if the big announcement on Thursday is an artist/band that doesn't have a PJ connection.

Too many of the acts on the bill already have a relationship to Ed/PJ.

Neil seems to fit just right.

Wouldn't that just be awesome?? I'd say I could die happy too!!!!
  • The Allman Brothers Band had to cancel their Bonnaroo performance because one of the founding members is recovering from Hepatitus C.

the announcement on thursday is a replacement performance, so think along the lines of ABB, which kind of makes out the announcement to be a big deal!
