We have similar worlds."Mike McCready, he isn't from Chicago but I imagine he's Irish"

I'm just worried about time. I just read on the inforoo board that they close the main stage at 12am due to noise and the "neighbors". So if JJ starts at "sunset", then we are in for a shorter PJ show.
Probably reading too much into it. I think it should be the same "allotted" time as ABB had. Just an observation, and all speculation. It is still going to be fun as hell!Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!0

I would be willing to bet this is the case.
Think of it this way. They payed X amount of dollars for PJ to play a headlining set, which is supposed to be X amount of time.
Why would they do something to change that?
The reason 'roo continues to be such a big deal, is because of the epic performances. People go back because of Radiohead's longest set ever, and MMJ's 3+ hour marathon, memorable things like that. If they cripple PJ's ability to give an epic performance, it will seriously hurt them in years to come, and the promoters know that. The Man has a branch office in each of our brains, his corporate emblem is a white albatross, each local rep has a cover known as the Ego, and their mission in this world is Bad Shit.0

I'm pretty sure that some bands have played past midnight on the main stage.0

 yep
not to mention that they juggled the scheduling to accommodate Widespread Panic's inclusion...no way Panic would play a 1.5 hour set, so they moved Jack Johnson to preheadline for Pearl Jamlooking for 2 to Columbia...

Yeah, after some consideration I have no worries that the PJ set would be any shorter because of the move.
I also noticed that on the Bonnaroo website they have Les playing "with his solo band" AND as Oysterhead. This is good news indeed.
2 more months to go!!!Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!0

I think that bio is old. It must be from the last time he did bonnaroo, look at the dates they have listed for festival. The Man has a branch office in each of our brains, his corporate emblem is a white albatross, each local rep has a cover known as the Ego, and their mission in this world is Bad Shit.0

Also, there are bands playing at 3am on other stages/tents. I think they stop using the Main stage because of logistical reasons, not because of sound curfews or anything like that.
 No worries. 0 0

It is from 2006. Oysterhead will not be at Roo this year.0

Yeah, I kinda doubt the curfew thing for the main stage. It may be a little louder than the Which stage (where they have bands playing starting at midnight both Friday & Saturday) but they probably close it for logistical reasons like you said.0

Theres no way Oysterhead could even play...The Police are on a HUGE tour this Summer so that means no Stewart Copeland...and Trey Anastasio is still hiding out in New York after his drug arrest...he hasnt played in over a year but for one date with Phil Lesh.0
