When is the tentative release for the new album?

I know it isnt even recorded yet, but how far off is this from release do you reckon?

    a year or more, unfortunately. i would guess next fall, thats a complete guess though

    Mike said that he would like to see it released later this year, but I don't see that happening.

    they should pull and radiohead and raconteurs and just release it with 10 days prior notice

    I have a theory that they are gonna release it a la Radiohead before the East Coast tour starts.

    what exactly is the news about the album? how do we know they will be making one relatively soon? I see all this talk about it but missed the source of the news itself since I have been really busy the past couple months.

    Anyone wanna help me out and answer that?

    I'd love for them to do this...

    However, what I would REALLY love is if they released a tour only EP with like 4-5 new songs on it.

    And then release a full album w/ different songs on it sometime in the near future.

    im gonna guess march of 2009... just a guess... production time takes awhile tho even if they have the songs figured out and recorded... CC has been done with his new one for awhile now i think and its still only slated to be out by sept.

    so i actually take back the march guess... lets say may... what with touring and all that taking up time

    could happen... no one wouldve guessed NIN had a new album just months after releasing ghosts and then BOOM... and for free no less... i could see PJ doing the same... maybe mike has just been throwing us off with what hes been saying in interviews to make it a better surprise! if nothing else, the east coast will atleast get to hear a few new ones im sure
