Holy crap they put on a good show. Saw them in Philly on Saturday with Tiger Army and I'd never heard them before - I'm a fan now. Wow. If you like some outspoken punk you'll like this. They do it well.

I'm going to bump this once - I can't believe no one else has heard of or has an opinion on the Street Dogs. I think if you like(d) the Clash, you'd like these guys.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

Necromancing the thread to see if anyone's seen them now. Just saw them again at Warped, and they'll be having a fall tour.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

Saw them open for STP at River Rave in Mansfield MA, That whole show was painful except for STP and Filter. Street Dogs just made alot of noise and mumbled incoheriently about Mass. And thats where Im from so I should have bought into it all but just didnt do anything for me. Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Dropkick Murphys are much better in that scene5/24/06 Boston, 6/28/08 & 6/30/08 Mansfield0

I saw them open for Flogging Molly. Basic Boston punk band. I think the singer used to be in the DKMs, but then joined the army.0

I saw them open for FM as well, they were good.
The lead singer, Mike McColgan, left DKM to become a firefighter in Boston I think.
The first and only DKM album he was on, "Do or Die" is one of the best hard driving, straight-out punk rock albums ever!was it?....0 -

Yes he did that and was also in the army in the first gulf war. I'm glad some other people have seen them. I saw the DKM this year; I think Mike has a better singing voice than the current singer of DKM, but they were good too. While the dates are not up yet, they told us that they were playing Albany in October, they thought, and they'll be going back to Philly. (They had a signing at warped)R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

Haven't seen them live, but I did meet one of the band members at another show I was at. He is friends with the band. I have one of their albums and enjoy it. Good stuff.Post edited by red mos onPJ: 10/14/00 06/09/03 10/4/09 11/15/13 11/16/13 10/08/14
