Gonna be a busy summer of gigs:

    All in Los Angeles

    Rush May 8
    Elbow May 9
    Joe Jackson May 13
    REM May 29
    REM May 31 (Berkeley)
    Supergrass
    Radiohead x 3 (1 x Santa Barbara)

More shows will pop-up along the way!
  • alls I got is:

    Radiohead
    PJ
    Wilco

but what a fanastic group of three that is! I already saw Ani Difranco in March and short of seeing the Shins(who aren't even touring) I've gotten a chance to see my top 4 picks this year...not too shabby. It's quality not quanity this year.

    Tom Petty - Pittsburgh
    Pearl Jam - MSG2
    John Mayer - Cleveland
    DMB - Cleveland

Definitely a good summer. The Black Crowes are coming to Pittsburgh in August, I'd like to go to that. Jack Johnson will be in Cleveland, too..but I doubt I'll go.

    ABSOLUTELY

The lead singer has such an amazing, powerful and beautiful voice.

Tommy is probably the unsung hero of this band, he's really talented ... strings, keys, you name it, he plays it.

try this on for size ... from this year's Coachella:

as of right now, not many. there's a free moe. show in rochester in june i'm hoping to get to, as long as i can get the day off from work. labor day weekend is moe.down 9, so i'll be there (once again). they just released the first set of bands playing the down this year. among them was presidents of the united states of america and fishbone (there were about 5 other bands, but who they were escapes me at the moment). more bands will be announced later. i'm also going to catch ted nugent at the nys fair (he's playing a free show at chevy court this year). my wife and i are going to go to one of the pay shows at the fair this year: def leppard, styx, and reo speedwagon. i'm really looking forward to that one. it'll definitely bring back a lot of memories of being young and in school.

that's all i got right now, unless moe. throws in another show close to home this summer.

    **edit**
i just saw someone said they're going to see neil diamond, so i checked his website to see tour dates, and he's playing a few hours from home, so maybe i'll try to get to that show, too. also, i saw that great big sea is playing an irish fest a couple hours from home, tickets are $15 and it's a GA show, so maybe i'll hit that one up, too. and also, i just remembered the toadies are in cambridge, ma this year and i'm gonna try to make that show, too.

No PJ concerts lined up yet. Still considering the Roo, but I'm still trying to decided if I want to be surrounded by hippies for three days.

Other then that, I plan on catching STP, NIN, and Radiohead.
