jeff buckley died today all those years ago. so in honour it will be back to back buckley in my house today. such a talent. such a waste. his music always brings me joy and i thank him for that.


i don't write my music for sony. i write it for the people who are screaming down the road crying to a full blast stereo. there is also the music i'll make that will never ever ever be for sale. this is my music alone, this is my true home; from which all things are born and from which all my life will spring untainted and unworried, fully of my own body. - jeff buckley

    born november 17 1966. died may 29 1997. he drowned.

    i'm listening to sine at the moment. calling you. what an amazing song. and a good one to sing along with. it really tests your breathing and phrasing which is good.

    Oh, . . . now I'm crying. Here I am again all of these years later...
    I remember that day. I had just gotten back from San Francisco with my then boyfriend and I was winding down, unpacking and I stopped to check email. It was then I read that he had gone missing. There would be days of speculation and many tears shed until he surfaced and worst fears were confirmed.

    I listen to his music now and smile, but I have a hard time listening to a song about him. That one gets me everytime.
