Just wondering what he's up to? I haven't heard any of his solo stuff but love his stuff with the Tree's and Mad Season. How is his solo shit, is it worth buying? BTW anyone know if there are any ST T-Shirts. I can't find much shit from the Tree's, even on eBay.

Lanegan is currently hangin' out with his fellow Gutter Twin (The Gutter Twins) Greg Duli -- they have an album coming out soon. Mark did some work on Guli's Twighlight Singer's latest album too.
Lanegan's last solo album, "Bubblegum" is as good as any of the Screaming Trees stuff, but his 1994 release, "Whiskey for the Holy Ghost" is probably better than most of the Screaming Trees stuff. "Field Songs" is another great solo album.
The Conner bros both have separate projects now, I forgot the names of them, but they aren't anything special.
Drummer Barrett Martin does a lot of work on various albums as well as really mind-blowing tribal drum shit of his own.
The fun fact about Screaming Trees is that all 4 members appeared on Queens of the Stone Age's "Rated R" album as four separate musicians on different tracks.
Excluding Mudhoney, The Screaming Trees & Mark Lanegan are the BEST, purist sounds to come out of Seattle.0 -
well now that you've got the where are they now answered, here's my take on his solo stuff. Bubblegum is probably one of the best albums of the decade. Whisky for the holy ghost is really really good but Bubblegum is the shit."I'm not suicidal, except when I drink. That's why we don't all drink at the same time, there'd be no-one alive to drive home..."

I think one of the Connor bros. is in a band called "Valis"
"Bubblegum" is an awesome album, very underrated (like the majority of Lanegan's work). Check out "Scraps at Midnight" as well.0 -

That would be Van, playing with another brother, Patrick. I've seen Vallis a few times. Fun shows, for sure. http://www.valisrocks.com/
The Screaming Trees always put on a great show, and are my favorite band from that era. I hope one day that they'll get back together."I'll use the magic word - let's just shut the fuck up, please." EV, 04/13/080 -
Bubblegum and Whiskey are must-haves.0

The band all knows. We're too afraid to mention.
Don't want to be part of Frank's luncheon.

My god he's been ate!0 -
On LTP he sang "This Lullaby," but that's about all he did vocally on there.0

Im disapointed that Lanegans working with Dulli. Its an album I wont bother with, apart from Afghan Whigs: Gentlemen his stuff bores me a tad.
Think that (twilight singers)Blackberry Belle is the worst music Lanegan and Shawn Smith have been involved in.
I'll Take Care of You is another great solo record of his, though covers.0 -
Fuck me no one has mention The Winding Sheet yet, classic fucking album great start to a solo career, Bubblegum is awesome, Ballard of the Broken Seas with Isobelle Campbell, in short all Lanegans solo work is worth picking up the guy is a legend.

Lanagan sings two lines on Martina Topley-Birds debut Quixotic (called Anything in the states), she was the voice of Trickys Maxinquaye classic.
Josh Homme also makes an appearance as does the Trickmeister himself, a great album.
Check out her "Lullaby" single on youtube.
as for Lanegan, personally I feel if you like any one of his solo records then you really do need to hear them all,0 -
Mark also makes appearences on Nick Olivieri's Mondo Generator albums and Chris Goss' Masters Of Reality albums, forgot to mention them the other day.:)
