WHOOHOO! Chris is coming to Toronto on his Birthday!!!!!
Pre-sale was today (still going on till early tomorrow). The only had shitty balconies available so I'm waiting for the general onsale on Friday.
One way or another I'm going to be there close to the stage.

WOW, congrats, you must be very lucky, we got only one show here!!0 -
I thought about going, but $70 a ticket?
Then again I love his music, but he's by far not my most entertaining front man.0 -
Could someone remind Chris that there is a southern hemisphere?0

SEVENTY???????????? Most I've paid is 44 but that was for a festival. Average for just Chris for me is right at 30 bucks.

I'll be there, but I don't know how they would squeeze 2000 people in the venue.0 -

The venue website says they can accomodate 1500 people. I've been there a few times and I think 1500 would be a little tight. I guess it depends on how/where they set up the stage.
As for getting tickets ... you are forgetting that people in Nashville have generally horrible taste in music. The radio stations here are TERRIBLE!! But fewer people at the show means a better chance that I'll get better seats (and hopefully you too).0 -

I'm not sure how it'll work. If there's a floor then I'm there ... I'll be the short girl in a PJ shirt trying to see over everyone else's heads.0 -
Does anyone know the presale password for the 7/16 Mpls show presale that starts tomorrow?
Is it Carry?"Speak your mind even if your voice shakes" ~ M Kuhn0 -
Strangely enough, ECM calls me during Hunger Strike tonight. I'm all sad that there's no Chi show.
Then I get an email from Ticketmaster...

What the hell are you doing in Nashville?? Chris plays nuff times in your neck of the woods?? hahahaha
Ya I'm Jealous.
so what songs did he play?? 2 and a half hrs huh? SWEET!!
Way longer than when he played here. Fuckin venue cut him short cause it doubles as a night club and they had to be open for that by a certain time. GRRR"Rock and roll is something that can't be quantified, sometimes it's not even something you hear, but FEEL!" - Bob Lefsetz0 -
