    Nothing. Last time we all went to a bar called Sweet Janes which was fun...City Steam is a good time too, but overall Hartford is a letdown.

    But seriously, not much, uh uh I live in West Hartford and can't think of anything except maybe the bar scene down in hartford. Other than that, if it was hockey season you could have seen a wolfpack game...

    you were asking about Hartford...not seeing PJ...I would get tix and come see PJ, but dont expect Hartford to be any fun, but by all means come visit.

    nothing to do
    crowd was suckie

    BUT
    tix were easy to get thru 10c and the suckie crowd left early so I moved up by the end of the show mike was still playing and ed was sitting on the stage, lights were on and I was at arms length

    If you get to the venue early you could walk around with one of those paper Burger King crowns on your head and laugh at peoples reactions. "Its the king man like in the commercials!" Perhaps I will do that again this year.

    Hartford SUCKED when my buddy and i drove there spur of the moment after Albany in '06.

    What everyone else said.

    There are like 2 bars.

    City Steam was cool, but its like the ONLY thing we found.

    '06 show was a sunday, and the town was fucking DEAD.
    D-E-A-D, piece of shit, up tight, conservative ass, no one on the street, and only people we saw dressed up like they just got out of church, conservative ass ... did i mention conservative? town.

    Well you could pull into a hilton treat everyone like trash, than tailgate in front of a bunch of rich ass mother fuckers going to a ball, in the parking garage in front the valets, and than did I mention smell the whole garage up with weed.

    Go to a Whalers game...Oh wait they moved to Carolina years ago. Do people in the Carolinas give a shit about hockey except for 2 years ago when they beat my beloved Oil in 7 games. Carolina give the Whale back to Hartford.

    First off, it's a fucking shame that the Whalers left town after the 96-97 season. At the time, it was the only reason to go to downtown Hartford. Now there is no reason. Plus, the Whalers were fucking sick - not to mention that they had the best unis in all of hockey.

    Second, whatever anyone else said above is true. Hartford is incredibly fucking lame. I grew up 20 miles outside of the city and still couldn't tell you how to get anywhere within the city limits other than the Civic Center (aka "The Mall") or the Meadows (or whatever the hell they call it now).

    So, if you're considering going to this show, I would consider staying somewhere near downtown WEST Hartford. There is actually more of a nightlife there than in the actual city of Hartford. There are a couple good bars and multiple good restaurants in West Hartford.

    And, one way or the other, you're going to need a car to get anywhere.

    In conclusion, the Whale fucking ruled.
