Thanks, man. I have no idea how many times PJ has been on Letterman, but I'd be curious to know. It's gotta be around 5 by now, if not more.

Now, if PJ ever appears on Sesame Street, we might have to move things around in the top 10. I think we all want to see Ed carry on a conversation with Animal. By the way, doesn't this muppet on the piano look like Boom?

    10) MTV Awards 1993 with Neil Young. This was the "Rockin in the Free World" episode and was simply electric

---I have been looking for this video for my collection for some time. If anyone knows where I may get it, it would be appreciated immensely.

    06) Pearl Jam appears on Letterman, May of 2006. This was cool because after their appearance, they played a bunch of songs in the Ed Sullivan theatre that was simulcast on the Late Show website. It's not every day you get to hear them perform "Why Go" live.

---WHAAA??!!!! Never heard of this!! Shit. This I would like to see and if it is as good as advertised, would like to add to the collection as well.

Oh and the Longroad 9/11 version, thought I had it.

Was excited to see storrytellers and iconaclasts, because of the chance to see them in a different light.

The 1992 acoustical jam is my #1.

    Thank you

There's no way the '94 SNL appearance is not No. 1.

I mean, the biggest band in the world, playing that forum less than a week after Kurt Cobain died? And tagging lyrics from KC's suicide note into Daughter?

To me, that's one of the top musical moments in TV history, not just PJ history.

You've got a good argument, Jeff. Awesome version. I remember calling in sick that Saturday as I was like 23 years old and at a buddy's cookout w/my high school friends and really didn't want to work on that Saturday night. Just a great show.

    And for memories.........

10.)Eddie and Mike on Headbangers Ball in 91 with Ricki Rachtman (Ed totally stoned and the hatred between Hair metal scenster Rachtman and Eddie was palpable)
9.)Pearl Jam Wishlist Letterman 98 (I remember thinking where's Jack, and why is Soundgarden's drummer playing, also great performance of this song)
8.)Pearl Jam Grammy's 96 (I cringed watching that speech, kinda funny)
7.)Pearl Jam Hail,Hail Letterman 96 (First time I remember them doing TV when I was a fan , it was a big deal)
6.)Ed and Jeff PinkPop interview (hilarious to see Jeff mimic the interviewer's translation)
5.)SNL 92 (Alive+Porch with enough instensity to make Fugazi look retarded)
4.)SNL 94 (frgiggin 3 knock-out performances, I mean who gets to do unreleased material as their lead song?)
    3.)Black portion from Letterman '96
    2.)Porch 92 Unplugged ( Fact)
1.)MTV 93 Awards with Neil ( Again,Can't argue with the facts, it is a fact this is the best TV performance ever.

Eddie helping Dave sing black on Letterman is high on the list for me. I love how he just disappears afterwards. Classic.

    Why #1 for Iconoclasts?

Yes...a movie that is on TV now.

Iconoclasts because it just kicks that much ass.

    1996 - "Hail, Hail"
    1998 - "Wishlist"
    2000 - "Grievance"
2002 - "I Am Mine" and "Save You" aired over two nights
    2004 - "Masters of War"
    2006 - "Life Wasted"
Can't escape from the common rule...
If you hate something, don't you do it too
